Tusk UTV Lift Review

Having the right tool for the job makes working on your UTV sooo much better. I cannot tell you how many times I have tried to use those stupid bottle jacks that come with your car for lifting up our UTV’s.

They flat-out suck. The suspension on our CANAM X3 Maverick makes it even more difficult and we have to move the jack around every time we are changing tires, especially with 33” tires.

Sound familiar?

Well, being able to roll your UTV lift under your UTV and lift the ENTIRE rig up off the ground Is way better and way safer.

So, stop using crappy small jacks to lift up your side by side. It’s not worth getting smashed or breaking parts when it falls off the jack.

Tusk Side by Side Lift

The Tusk UTV lift is a pneumatic powered lift. Hook this lift up to your air and you have Hydraulics doing all the heavy lifting. The great thing about this side-by-side lift is it’s really compact and lightweight.

When you are not using it in the garage it compacts almost completely flat and can be stored out of the way.

Built for lifting 1800lbs you can lift just about any UTV out there.

You also have wheels for moving the lift around when needed. Its really easy to get setup and use.

This is a game-changer for replacing oil, changing your tires or fixing problems on the Maverick X3. This also allows you to work on the mention without bending over as much.

Why do you need a hydraulic lift for your side by side?

If you made it this far down in the article you probably are still on the fence about the Tusk UTV lift.

You are asking yourself do I really need it and is this UTV lift worth the money?

My counter is what is your time, machine, and health worth to you?

Some of the scariest events In my life have been around bad jacking incidents. I had a large SUV fall off the jack once and smash up my brake rotors…not fun and an expensive mistake.

So, here are some pros and cons to the Tusk UTV lift.

Pros:

  • Way safer than normal Jacks

  • Way easier to use than normal Jacks/lifts

  • Lifts a ton

  • Stores easily

  • Easy to operate

  • Allows you to lift the entire machine off the ground

Cons:

  • Expensive than some UTV lifts/jacks

  • Larger than smaller bottle jacks

  • Have to have pneumatic air

Conclusion:

I personally feel that it’s worth it alone for the time you will save when lifting up your UTV to do a tire change or general maintenance. Your back will thank you and no more crawling under your machine to find that “perfect“ lifting spot.
