Overall we think this is a great step for Beta Motorcycles. We need more passionate racing focused Dirt bike manufactures. This gives the consumer more options and creates healthy competition.
For years KTM has owned the Enduro and single track market. Especially in the 2 stroke markets
Beta is looking to dethrone them and the Model year 2020’s are looking really good. The oil injection and counterbalanced motor is a solid 2 stroke bike.
KTM is switching to all EFI 2 strokes other than their SX models. So the KTM TPI’s have oil injection and also fuel injection.
There are a ton of diehard 2 stroke lovers that want to keep 2 strokes and dirtbiking simple and cheap. Adding fuel injection make it seem more complicated.
So, Beta has oil injection and also a counterbalanced motor but still has a carb on it.
Could we see a bunch of KTM riders make the switch to the 2020 RR Beta?
I think so……
