2019 BACKCOUNTRY SNOWBOARDING
The crew from Backcountry Life spend the day riding in the backcountry. Where we grew up for years we have been building ski / snowboard runs for the winter.
Here is the video
This year there was a HUGE fire that required the forest service to cut fire lines.
Luckily for us these fire lines are part of the trails that we had been riding for years but didn’t have the man power to completely clean them up.
This year in Utah we had a killer snow year so the snowpack was excellent.
We hiked to the top of the what we call the “fire line trail“ and that is where the footage starts.
The snow today was good but not the famous Utah blower snow.
We would use the logs and pile up them up to make natural terrain jumps.

The terrain from Backcountry Life’s private ski resort is steep and deep to tree runs and a green trail/road that we groom with the Snowgroomers Sno-Master 48.
We pull it behind our Honda 1000 5 seater with Camoplast Tracks, link for these tracks below
